Be part of the Magic: Support the Third Season of the Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival!

Get ready to be part of something truly magical! The Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival is back for its third season, and we need your support to make it happen. This family-friendly festival is free and enjoyable for everyone, but we can’t do it without you.

We're aiming to raise $3,000 to cover essential production expenses. Your contribution will not only help us create an unforgettable event for our community, but it will also provide UTEP Theatre and Dance student cast members with invaluable experience in their field of study.

Your Support Made Last Year's Festival a Hit!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, last year's production of Twelfth Night was a resounding success! In collaboration with the Kern Place Association and UTEP Departments of English and Theatre and Dance, we delighted over a thousand audience members from across El Paso and hosted a vibrant market with more than a dozen local vendors.

Join Us for More Magic This September!

This September, we're excited to invite you back to Madeline Park for a free, family-friendly, bilingual adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. Our talented cast includes UTEP students, guest professionals, and even a walk-on role for an audience member! Expect the same enchanting storytelling you loved last year, now with an expanded market and even more live entertainment.

A Festival to Remember

This year, the festival will feature an array of arts, crafts, and food vendors, including delicious sandwiches from Savage Goods. Enjoy pre-show entertainment with dancing lessons, a juggler, a tarot card reader, face painting and live performances from groups like El Paso Opera and Capoeira El Paso.

Be a Part of the Magic

Your support is the key to making this magical event possible! Help us reach our goal of $3,000 by August 30 and join us in bringing Shakespeare’s timeless tales to life under the stars at Madeline Park. Together, we can reignite the magic of Shakespeare for our community once again!

Plus, if you donate $100 or more, you'll receive a framed, signed show poster that can be picked up at the event.

Mark Your Calendars

The festival runs September 20, 21, 27, and 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets, and join us for an evening under the stars.
